Night of the lost star

Star falls – make a wish.
She knew that. Still she had never seen a falling star, but always knew her wish.
If only she could see the falling star…
That was exactly that night. Night of a lost star.

…Wishes. Our deepest truth, the only we want, our great delight and dreamful desire.
Wishes are the mirror of our soul.
Riita’s wish was her deepest fear and desire at the same time. That made her suffer.
She tried to hide her feelings about that, but in the end she showed it up and secrets of her heart were torn and unveiled.

‘It would have been much easier if I had no feelings at all. No and never.’ – thought she.
She was waiting knowing that this night he wouldn’t come. Still she hoped and kept on waiting.
Mariita needed to talk to him, she missed him. Maybe she didn’t miss anyone so much like she missed him.
‘Almost 1 AM. He won’t be here tonight.’ – sighed she. – ‘well, maybe tomorrow…’

They hadn’t talked for a couple of days and she thought why he couldn’t be there that time.
‘I’m tired of this game. I’m tired of writing a diary. I cannot write anything but “I love you more than life, more than everything on Earth..” I can’t stand this anymore.’ – typed she on her profile. ‘It’s all just stupid. It was wrong… My heart played a cruel joke on me… or not?’
Suddenly her phone blinked. A text message.
“You’re heart wasn’t wrong. Listen to it.”
