My Virtue

I cut a part of my soul – my gift to you
Ripped off heart leaving deep wound
You live in the mirror of my thoughts
But I’m too far from yours

Dream of vanilla skies, flight with a fantasy
Brings only pain to my heart, I can feel
Can you see the dream of light within my eyes
Last resort coming with pale smile of sunrise

But suddenly my virtue by my side
Revealed the truth to me forgetting this ever pride
Leading me astray through the darkness to light

No nightmares left to fear
Nothing to make me thrill

Story of Romeo and Juliet was too short
Even so hard I tried to make any effort
Sweet poison of anguish filling my heart
To make you see

That destination is not too far to be impossible to cut
Not a labyrinth in worlds of alive and dead
The only that left for me is faith and tiny hope in my heart

But my virtue walking by my side
Revealing the truth to me forgetting his pride
Leading me astray through the darkness to light

While you see the tears of me
You try to make me strong
With your warmth and care
Comfort flowing through my soul

But my virtue walking by my side
Revealing the truth to me forgetting his pride
Leading me astray through the darkness to light

No nightmares left to fear
My virtue is near
Nothing to make me thrill
My angel lies with me
No nightmares left to fear
Nothing to make me thrill
