The hardest moment in her life
No way to run away
No chance to escape
She had to choose the one
Looking through the past she saw
The dream in eyes of hope
Touch of lips so warm
Embrace of heart, flight of soul
Eternal dream through the years ungone
Vanity of words that drown
Between day and night she is lost
In her heart lies eternal love
Between dreaming and lust
Between silence and dust
Under the spell of faith she couldn’t hide
Forever her heart belongs to twilight
Beneath the dream into the dark spell
She walks alone through the night
She needed help but who could tell
What path to choose to reach the light
Between two worlds, between two sides
In love and hate, in life and death
Bitter tears she still hides
I hope you’ll hear me in silent call
Of wind’s cold breath
In sad rain’s song
In dream lost bound
In one night pure sound
Through my voice
Hear the prayer of the lost
Such a poor choice
For a too high cost
But heart never lies
It’s true even when it dies
