Hand Leading Me Through

The door silently closed
Before my past tears
Hiding my present fears
Preparing me for the worst.

Through the wind so cold
I could see falling autumn rain.
Through the dark mirror
I could see all my nightmares
And the hand leading me through it all.

You left footprints on white innocent snow
Before my door and under my window.
In a fantasy of midwinter embrace
I saw your smiling face.

Through the wind so cold
I could see falling autumn rain.
Through the dark mirror
I could see all my nightmares
And the hand leading me through it all.

The window still open
Letting leaves’ song flow into my room
Taking me through the dream of deep blue.
Just let it happen…

Through the wind so cold
I could see falling autumn rain.
Through the dark mirror
I could see all my nightmares
And the hand leading me through it all.
Through the wind so cold
I could see falling autumn rain.
Through the dream world
I could feel the touch of flame
Burning deep inside hearts of yours and mine.
