Shadow Dancer

Wish I could sing, wish I could fly
Wish I could fade with northern wind
Wish I could wither in blue sky
Wish is the only I could feel

Melody surrendered, it drowns in silence’s embrace
Violin weeps, piano sighs, whisper slowly fading away
Leaves silver and cold silently bow before night grace

Nothing but silence remains
Nothing but shadows dance
Nothing but raindrops fall
Nothing but silent swan song

Midnight hour is late enough to walk pale moonpath
It’s time to lie in snow, dance in the rain, follow elven harp
To fly with the wind, to reach the sky blue with a pure heart

Wish I could stand silence around
Wish I could dance in shadow bound
Wish I could breathe while I drown
Wish I could flow with silent song’s sound
