Pale Remorse

She walks alone along the alley
Every pale grey morn.
She comes every rainy day
To the place where she was born.

Beneath great oak she lies
Counting days till ghosts rise
Nightmares follow her while she cries.

Why am I lost in this dark cold room?
World of ice, world of eternal morn…
Grass is grey, dew is tears of moon
Where will I come when I’m gone?

Snow innocent white cover –
Blanket cold froze a bloodred rose
Tracks darkened below flowing over
For another land of ice and snow,
For deep frozen sea, winter memory,
Voice from the heart of unseen force,
Tears of fear, dream lying near, embrace of remorse.

Where are all fears gone, why silent whisper ceased?
What will I find in the end of eternity, sparkle of memory?

Why am I lost in the dark world of frost?
Come to ease my tears of pale remorse

Snow innocent white cover –
Blanket cold froze a bloodred rose
Tracks darkened below flowing over
For another land of ice and snow,
For deep frozen sea, winter memory,
Voice from the heart of unseen force,
Tears of fear, dream lying near, embrace of remorse.

Two dreams I had every night.
One is wing of darkness, another wing of light.
Blessed fallen angel lying in-between – a pale memory of me…

Snow innocent white cover –
Blanket cold froze a bloodred rose
Tracks darkened below flowing over
For another land of ice and snow,
For deep frozen sea, winter memory,
Voice from the heart of unseen force,
Tears of fear, dream lying near, embrace of remorse.
