Playground

Walking empty halls of a broken house
Holy temple it was, Eden so close
Thoughts turned to ghosts, memories into whisper
Truth hides deeper than the shelter

Dark ruins of place where I used to play
Path leading to the Far Gates
Memories slowly fade away

Pale world
Cage of gold
Empty and cold
Forgotten playground
Hours all by my own
Childhood memories are silently gone
Floating, drifting away
Fading in the end of day

Broken mirrors, windows forever dark
In these walls lives eternal night
Candles once sharing their warmth
Now their flame is forever gone

Playground where I walked in sun and rain
Touch of rainbow is deadly pale
Childhood memories have almost faded away

Pale world
Cage of gold
Empty and cold
Forgotten playground
Hours all by my own
Childhood memories are silently gone
Floating, drifting away
Fading in the end of day

Walls turned to ruins, but my feelings are stronger than time
Love is a sacrifice, life is a chance
Running with the wind, falling with rain for another dreamnight
No rain, no pain, no fire will chase
Deep world of memories, my inner light

Years ago I wrote your name with white
On the grey playground
It’s never faded there and in my heart, too
Belonging forever to you

Pale world
Cage of gold
Empty and cold
Forgotten playground
Hours all by my own
Childhood memories are silently gone
Floating, drifting away
Fading in the end of day
