Midnight howls
Behind cold days long gone
Memories come with dawn
Covering frozen ground
Old pain of dreamlove never gone

Silent whisper makes me tremble
One word of yours makes my heart beg
Longing for another heart forever
Voice calling me through the night
Echoing in my dreams of light

Still the same old song sung within
Hidden deep, written by a poet’s hand
One touch makes me feel
One word makes me believe
A sight could kill
Each breathe I tried to take
Dawn took love away
Leaving tears in my eyes
Daylight ruined my dream hideaway
Voice calling me through the night
