Moonlit Lullaby

Trees keep on silent whispering
At midnight hour they are awake
Standing still in silver cold of moonlight
Nightingale’s song flowing over the lake
To the far shore in the end of the night

Trees keep on silent whispering
And I’m still not sleeping
Haunted by thoughts, by voices in my head
Nightmares so bad

Starfall above the velvet blue
Moonlit waters song of truth
Oh, where are you?

Song through the soul of a child
Snowflake melting on my palm
Eyes looking high over blue blue sky
Bearing all spring memories deep in heart

You are the most beautiful wonder
Dreamy dawn above the horizon
Angel’s song, lullaby for a dreamer
A path leading me back home

Wishing only more
Heart belongs to the awe
Just take me back home

You are the wonder, my sparkling light
Dream of Heaven
Secret hideaway
You are the only starlit path through the dark midnight

Trees keep on silent whispering
At midnight hour they are awake
Standing still in silver cold of moonlight
Nightingale’s song flowing over the lake
To the far shore in the end of the night

Starfall above the velvet blue
Moonlit waters song of truth
Oh, where are you?
