Way Back Home

Through the days an endless journey
To reach the lands so far
To get the dreamless high star
To take back all
What was once gone

Through the hills and fields
A long road runs
To the sparkling rivers and streams
To the high withering dreams
Above the mountains high

Over the edge, over the bridge
Homeland left far behind
Our road is long
To the long lost gold

Treasures so shiny, caves dark and deep
A lonely mountain along the dragon’s sleep

Far below a path runs home
Through the woods and rivers and dawns

A song of home, a long lost home
Old time once gone into frozen cold
So far we are from the land of snow

Through the hills and streams
Through the high pale mountains
Over the ancient dreams
Across the midnight rivers and moonlit paths
We are coming back to the land of cold
We are coming home
