Northern Dawn

In the darkness, in that cold
December frost in the middle on June
Under the shadow of this world
Kind heart resting deep in the midnight blue

Lonely cloudy times through the days
Cold forlorn nights in the dream so awake
One autumn leaf to change a life
One sparkle of light
To burn the flame in heart

Across the fields golden and rivers fast
Through the storms so cold and winds blowing strong
Beneath the thorns lies bleeding heart of the last

One only dream journey
To feel warm breath of love
To cross the wonder dale
To reach a kiss of sweetest awe

That autumn night I’ve made my choice
To follow the call of heart’s deep voice
The path of feel, of awe and dawning hope
A secret road leading pure child’s heart to northern home

Among the world of cold and evil
I found a kind-hearted dream
A kiss of an angel, dark grace of sin
Forever in me, still dwelling within

Lonely cloudy times through the days
Cold forlorn nights in the dream so awake
One autumn leaf to change a life
One sparkle of light
To burn the flame in heart

One path to go, one life to live
One dream to see
One fate to believe
At the end of the world
I’ll face pale northern dawn
Hand in hand with pure ever hope
