Far From Home

Cold insanity, lost purity
End of innocence
End of memory
My world rests in silence

Far is my home, far far away
Sundown passes by dawn
Life flies near but never so close
Time flows slow through the memories white
River of time, lonely sleepless night

No Eagle’s nest
No warm cave, little hideaway
No soul’s rest
No path leading me far away

Walking alone through the time
Over the hills and far away
Far across the sea
Over the streams and mountains high
Far over the woods and dreams
To fall into sweet madness
To reach pure innocence

Over the hills
Over the seas
Across the fields
Right through the dreams
To open the chest
To follow the dragon’s heart beat
To live with dwarf-warriors
And fight for a dream

Lost and alone
Living a hope
Believing and dreaming
For deep sanctuary
Of lonely memory
Lost and cold
Far from dear home

Far away from dreamer’s hideaway
Over the ocean’s depth
Through desert’s breath
Far away from lonely soul’s cave
In dream northern land
Lost and alone
Far away from sweet home
