Silence (In His Name)

I closed the door and sat on a windowsill
Looking at falling snow slowly covering cold ground
Crying for every snowflake burying a dream
Silent wishes of me

Leaving a window open
I took a step outside
For every soul so lonesome
I fell into this night
For every dream broken

Forever for one kiss of deep true love
Forever for the path calling me back home

I closed the door and looked down
On that pale cold ground
Barefoot child before my eyes
A dream of innocence
Untouched memory of paradise

Leaving a window open
I took a step outside
For every soul so lonesome
I fell into this night
For every dream broken
I joined the silence, cleansing pain
I entered pale waters of his name

Forever running from my fears I fell for a barefoot child
Forever longing for dear sad eyes I saw one dark night
