Far away under the cover of white
Deep in the night lies a land of snow
My fantasy world of northern lights
Midwinter dreamy glow
In the land of ice and snow
Rivers flow frozen
Ravens above the horizon
Watching from the darkness high
Eternal night, forgotten sky
Far away in the midwinter glow
Night wishes fly higher than hopes
In the shadow of moonlit sorrow
In the northern lights of tomorrow
Beneath a wing of a dream
I will be lying still
Awaiting for another life beam
Bring me again to the land of my dreams
To the northern lights never seen
Redeem me into childhood memories
For another silver frozen flow
Of midnight glow
Barefoot child’s path in snow
Unseen woods, lakes’ deep blue
Northern winds whispering through the midnight glow
Nightingale singing the songs of ever buried truth
In the land of ice and snow
