Back To The Valley

Snow and ice of winter neverending
Tomorrow will fade away
Rivers again will flow, warm wind will blow
Sun will shine through the clouds
Spring will embrace frozen ground again

With winter cold end
With first spring day
You’ll come back again
To the same valley

Deep in a dream
I see your face
New adventure, dangerous game
First day of spring
I wake up and run to that place
To meet you again

Teary November wrote our days
Three months of sleep so long
Slowly flowing river of time, of yesterday grace
Sparkled away with a dream foretold

Sitting again on the old bridge across the river
Last autumn leaves slowly fade away
Dawning scent of the flowers unseen I feel so near
As the coming of you this spring first day

Nightingale sang last night
A beautiful lullaby
Whisper of wind told me that
You’re coming back

Back to the valley
First spring day
You are coming back home
Back to the valley
Snow fades away
You are coming back home

Northern land is awaiting
Hoping and praying
I’m standing at my window
To see you’re coming home
