So many times I’ve tried
To let it go and move on
If you only knew
So many times I wanted a normal life
If you only knew
This life is a gift because of you
If you only knew
It’s 4 a.m. and I can’t sleep
Reading old letters faded with time
Tears are falling down my face
Heart doesn’t believe it’s all but a lie
If you only knew
How many times I’ve tried
To find another way
To live another life
Instead of this one
Instead of this mine
If you only knew
How it was hard
To live someone’s life
Fake faces, two-faced smiles
Twisted tongues of lie
It’s not my life
You cannot breathe, you just fall down
Imagine how it’s hard
When you are alive slowly drowning
In storm waters of memories
And in the end we will touch the sky
When your heart overlords your mind
You will finally see the real me in the shadow of moonlight
