Lay Down

Before another dawn will separate us
Lay down, breathe me in
Follow cold shine of stars
While they’re shining for us

Call me again, one last time
Through the night
Let me see pale moonlight

Before the dawn will take my tears
Lay down, don’t fade in the night
Call me through withering years
While I’m still here

Drink me, feel me
Catch my breath in a sleep
Dream me, heal me
Show me a sweet dream this night
Take me, awaken me
Hold me tight and never let go
I’m out of life, out of blood
Lost in the end of the world

Whisper to me through the silence
Dark night’s embrace
I’m haunted by venomous darkest grace
Of fallen dawn, don’t go, don’t go
Lay down, until this morning falls
