Innocent White Snow

I saw the door open through the night
I heard a tolling bell calling me to the light
Where snow is white among red thorns
And stars shining brighter on their cold thrones
Where I feel almost home

Path in the story-end
Calling through the cold
Lost among darkened red
Innocent white snow

Like a call of winter in the middle of May
Whisper of wind howling in frozen leaves
Mind said to go, but heart prayed to stay

For the love eternal
For the door to Heaven
For us, for ever
Falling to cover the night
Calling to bring the light
Last night’s white snow

Paths painted in red
World dwells in white
Winter writes the story
While stars are still shining bright
