Strife (Lifelust)

A silent silhouette
Dark shadow
Pale ghosts walking in spring frost

Only an illusion, cruel game of my imagination
My own devil or divine creation
Dreamer’s lie deep in storyteller’s mind
Holding tight me in the bound of a darkest tide

Follow me into the darkness
If we live forever
Searching for deep lifelust
If we end up apart
Promise me you won’t forget
All sleepless nights we had

Deep sight written the life
In this meaningless world
A soul turned pale reality into a strife
Breathless dream lies now torn

This life is a strife
Eternity falls beneath a darkest grace
Midnight bows before the dawn’s face

Thirteenth strike of towerclock dwells behind
Crying in frozen moonlight
Dreamquest for the last night

Dreamer without a heart
Lies lifeless, breathless, torn apart
Melody of the night will dwell forever
In dead silence of snowlands
Still flows a call of healing prayer
