Child In Tide

Innocent and pure
Dreampath back to childhood
Like a bird snow white

Peaceful fearless dove
Resting calm on my arm
Feeling no bad in hopeless sight

Child playing with toys
In the meadow of wonders and awe
Grown-up poet playing with souls

My sandcastles are washed away by the tide
Every ruined hope of mine
Cloudcastles drawn by an unseen hand above every rhyme
My home lies high in the darkness of the night
Upon a fallen wish-star
Entwined with your heart

Like two paths by silver moon
Becoming one
Like two stars in the darkness of the night
Shining bright
Like two souls longing for the same dream
Hearts entwined

Not for a dream, not because of the fear
But for a storyteller
Who entered the lifetide deep in my world
