Wild Has A Feel

Deep in broken mirror of shadow
I’m the darkness you fear
Eyeing you through the night
You think I’m an evil seed
A sinful beast that should be killed

I can see you before me — weak and small
Like a child trembling within a worst nightmare
The truth is that I’m smaller and weaker than you all

Cutting me, tearing me you will never prove
That you belong to dearest call of blue

You say that Earth is nothing but dirt
And nothing could harm, nothing would hurt
Because it’s dead, life hides unseen
But you cry if you cut and weep when you fall
So why do you think it has no feel?

I see you are afraid because of wild sight
Heavy paw won’t grab you into the dark
You have nothing to fear —
I won’t hurt you before you hurt me
As the wild has a feel

Trees and leaves have a feel, the same feel as you
They’re alive, we are all real
As the wild has a feel

I can see you before me — scared and alone
Don’t fear, I won’t hurt you while you cannot harm
So you can follow me and howl
For the wild still has a heart

We also dream and pray for a normal living
Desire to wish and hope wrote the words “We are real!”
As the wild has a feel
