Eyes Of A Child

Every day I walk the same path

To turn back home
Warming hands in the light of decaying fire
Every night I take the same path
Leading me back to the place
I used to call home
Untouched beauty, pure virginity
Of unveiled eyes of a child
Uncovered, unleashed innocent purity
Of a curious heart
Winter cascading within
Flowing rivers of time
Remind me still of barefoot childhood
Scent of dawn, cold morning dew
Colourful kite across the sky clear blue
I’m falling again into the whirlpool of life
To recall all the light-hearted memories
I wander the world painted with white
Wistful sea of skies
Deep in a dream we belong to the light
Untouched beauty, pure virginity
Of unveiled eyes of a child
Uncovered, unleashed innocent purity
Of a curious heart
Cold evening before a fireplace
Memories of summer nights by a campfire
Dwell deep in silver midnight grace
Snowfall will turn into blooming white
