Sundown Of Life

Midnight call to gather them all
Twelfth strike to make them fall
Pale ruins of all the past lives

Eleventh call through the night
Cascading waterfalls of silver moonlight
Calling me to enter the darkest heart

I am a dreamer living a dream
I am a storyteller writing another story
Silent longer still longing for ancient lore
Hidden within dark poisoned core

Paradise seeker longing for her home
I try to find the answers to reach the truth
Still every dream is but a call of the deepest awe

Darkest side has its pure light
Sharing it with nobody
Bearing it still for a one whoever cares
Weeping deep in the black coiling night

Pale moon will guide to white shores
Where life writes a hideaway of heart’s core
Once lost innocence won;t be reborn

I am but a nightcrawler
Searching for dreams in the darkness of human hearts
I am but a longer
Longing for all the childish tales unbound
I am but a dreamer
Holding a dearest hope every night

For the world I’m but escapist
A lonely dark beast
Living in a castle of dreams and mirages
Longing for wishes of midnight wonders

Till the sundown of life reached me
Reveal my real name to me
Let me feel what I always wished to see
The world I always wished it to be

I want to fly with whitefeather owl
I want to find a child’s dream awe
Take me back home
