Wonders, Come Back

The rooftops, the meadows embraced with late night
Fields of dew, smoke of chimneys, wind in the grass

A path across clear waters, moonlight glow in wolf’s eyes
Silent wish that I sent once through dark midnight sky

Where is the candle light of hope?
Where is Storyteller waiting by my door?
Where are all dreams calling me back home?
Where has all the laughter ceased?
Where is the wonder of lost dreams?
I want all the tales to wander
I want all wonders to come back

Where is the wonder of storytime?
Where are the meadows of awe?
Where is dreambound of all sleepless nights I used to long for?
Before the times pass by
I want to recall everything I had to find
Take me back to your storytime to fly
Take me again to the hour of night wonders and snow-white kites

Night ballet on the rooftop with stars and the wind
Pale mountains high shedding cold tears of waterfall
Enclosing the world in one touch of moonbeam

Before the river of time takes me
I call again to everything I wished to see
Dreaming of wishes I always wished to be
