Tale To Drown

Lost dreamer’s path to the island
White shore of miracles and dreams
A flight across the meadows of heaven

Forsaken road to far dreamland
Storytime ride across the time
Journey long, a homeward tale without end

Final petal to cover the eyes
Fading kite flowing across the sky
Come to bring me again back to life
Withering dawn above the stars
Beyond the dreams of nightingale’s lullaby
Revive me with midnight bound

Homesick, lost and forlorn
Lonesome heart for a hope undone
Tearing a mask of pretender longing for innocence’s core

Sing me a lullaby, play a harp of your heart
Whisper to me your dearest rhyme
And me dwell with you in this night
Caressing the tales you wrote so dear for a whole life

Final petal to cover the eyes
Fading kite flowing across the sky
Come to bring me again back to life
Withering dawn above the stars
Beyond the dreams of nightingale’s lullaby
Revive me with midnight bound

Journey across the snow-white field
A path, wanderer’s ever bound
Write my heart for another tale to drown
Sing me a sweet-dreams lullaby
Come back again to awaken me weep
Write me within deepest sleep
Tell the story of me withing the very dream
