Swansong For Your Heart

Close the door of yesterday
Move all tears fallen from my bleeding heart
Write another story to ease this pain

I run down memories sweet in my magic land
Where is no hurting lies, no fears

Through the uncovered window I see dawning sun
Rising slowly above pale crimson horizon
Where childish dreams still fly unbound, ungone

Everlasting hope
I gave it to you
Daring to let you in my world
Bound of a dreamer’s soul
Writing a story of my own memories
Enclosing every sunrise withered for you
All my dreams I dared to share with you

Whisper my name while my eyes are blind
Touch my hand while I long for every beat of your heart
Caress every dream while I’m sleeping calm in your arms

Pure swansong for a virgin love
Grace of dark night covered with white snow
Fearless child chasing all the fears alone
Watched by dark crow, led by virgin-white dove
Embraced by wisdom of northern owl

All the dreams we shared once
All the fears we bore in our hearts
Entwined paths became the one
A tale undone, pale memory never gone
Dwelling wish caressed by a fallen star

Verses lose their beauty without your rhyme
Take my hand to cover me from this cruel night
Call my name while I’m still awaiting at lost shore innocent white
