Bring My Last Lullaby Back To Life

Eyes of child watching through the night
Awaiting for another dream to come
Wonderworld that snowflake hides
A poet’s story to bring him back home

Pure grace of heaven’s trace
Kiss of eternity embraced pale path
Running through the stars

Dark night surrounding me
For the shore of wistful dream
Songwriter’s bound, childheart’s love
Nightingale’s song to lead me home
Dreamer’s hideaway is a perfect place
To hide all dear tales
Silent symphony cascading through life
To write my last lullaby

Old man still sees that little boy
Barefoot child in the field of dreams
Flowers in a hand, eyes full of joy
Innocent heart that still believes

Meadows of heaven
Unwritten best play
Tears for a dreamer
Who didn’t pay
For every dream he once had

Every dream you wished to see
Everything you wished to be
One verse enclosed so dear
For every little thing to be sung within

A saint with pure heart called himself a sinner
An innocent child holding every tale so dear

Dark night surrounding me
For the shore of wistful dream
Songwriter’s bound, childheart’s love
Nightingale’s song to lead me home
Dreamer’s hideaway is a perfect place
To hide all dear tales
Silent symphony cascading through life
To write my last lullaby
