Door Of Memories

Voices of the past echoing in my mind
Candle of memories still burning inside

In the white shroud of snow I still lie
Watching through the dark blue sky
Feeling it all like in a child’s lullaby

Bring me the light of the day long gone
Touch withered pages of my diary burnt
Come to write my story undone
Dream me once again back to life

Fly with me across the fields of youth
Over the seas and call of blue
Through innocent beauty of sweet morning dew

Sing me a lullaby, enter my dream
Caress a tale I wrote for you still keeping within

Wish wrote a verse for my heart to sleep
Just don’t close the door of memories resting deep

A nightingale, a guide of soul
Trill’s sweetest song, a midnight call
Sing me a lullaby every dark night
Over the mountains high
My sandcastle will dwell upon the sky
Handwritten note for a dreamer’s heart
