In Midnight Air

In a dream of midwinter night
Coiling still around me
Singing with lure a name of mine
Collecting stars I wished clear to see

A tale reading the heart
Poet’s awe, imaginarium unbound
Writing all good in me
Pure child within
Through the time river’s waters quivering still

Wind in the hair
Moonlit dance in frozen air
Little hideaways for a poet’s heart

Wind in the hair, honey dew scene
Last journey for a dream
Seascape through the eyes of a child
Lost moments of life
Little hideaways for a hoping heart
Sparkling still in memories deep

Echoing loneliness through the shroud of snow
Meadows untouched, lullaby unsung
Dreamer’s tales resting still in the void
For a heart, a verse and unwritten song in the toil

Wind in the hair
Moonlit dreams in the air
Flowing still to those hideaways for a lonely heart

A verse for a child, little star shining bright
Far beyond the horizon undone
Withered flower of love caressing every beat of your heart
