Memory River

Why is it so we cannot remember the face

So dear to eyes?
Collecting dreams sacred in untouched hideaways
Slowly forgetting the names of the dearest ones
Why we cannot recall a memory longing not for a mind
But for the deepest asylum of heart?
Singing the verses we wrote once for the most beautiful love
My darkest night crying still for a dreamer’s sleep
Midnight bound of wonder and dream
My darkest heart longing still for a poet’s thrill
Forsaken trapdoor reviving a feel
Awakening of dream, morning dew
Call of awe leading me home
Silver tear I shed for you
Every night cold and alone
Memories flew away taking the pain
Leaving me alone with the deepest scars
Forever a wounded beast will bleed in vain
Betrayed for the purest love beyond the stars
Kiss cold paw of withering dawn
Cascading rain on my face with draw your morn
Hold tight a dream and remember me
