Never Enough

Wind whispers to me
Veiling different face in the night
Shadowing with a silent memory

Never enough
For a heart of dark
Never enough
For a poet of the night
Verses you used to write
With my own blood
Under a swaying blade of life

Never enough
To share the last moment of life
Never enough
To wither in an echo of last ‘goodbye’
Never enough
Words untold still dwelling in time
Flying through the incredible high

Ink on pale pages
Turns into dust
Voices echoing in ages
Reflections of the past

Darkness lures the purest ones
Sheltering innocent hearts from evil tongues

Compassion turns into hypocrisy
Love cascading with waves of hate
Dreams paint a beauty of unreal scenery
Stairs through the midnight sky of tales
Fallen curtain before the first act of  memory

Never enough
Life to share a dream
Never enough
Night to tell everything
Living so deep
Within every secret weep
Deeper than soul and heart
Under the core of dear love
