Cure Of Tales

I’m drinking the pain of times
To reveal my real name to you
Being pure as the darkest lust
I wished to fall into the deep blue

Waters of turquoise cure
Dreams never found
As the river flowing down
Heart feels pale touch of everlost youth

I always knew when the battle was won
Soul felt no doubt within
Forever it had been so, too long before

Mirror of shadows
Broken and fallen
Desire endures lust
For another tomorrow
Once burnt to dust

I’m but a memory, pale fog in the mirrors
Faded bird singing through your window
Withered dawn above your shadow
Tears dried within your dark moonlit heart

Verses yet gone
Written for you through the distance and time
Songs never done
Tales unread, words unspoken
Forever in the night they’re lain to rest
