Lovelorn Lullabies

Pale face of crying moon
Smiles through the tears above
Calling forbidden name in dark blue
To be touched once by unforgiven love

He was dark like midnight in the end of December

She was darker than Northern winter
Chilling breath upon starlit skies
Singing through the night same lovelorn lullabies
He was dark, but soul was pure like a touch of light
She took the best care of him through slow flow of time
Meadows were caressed by dew
Sweet dreams, ice-cream castles above deep-love rhymes
Wondering still about a wish of dark blue
Kissing the poisoned core, still craving lost touch of lullabies
He was dark, but she was darker
He was a midnight, she was Northern night
He was a heart of December
She was but a lost-in-times dreamer
He was her dream, but she was the heart
Enduring the light to live for the night
They entered the same door
Daring to share fears of deepest core
They wept through the verse of lost lullabies
