Melody For A Dream

Like in a dream I still see
A smile frozen on your lips
Song dwells in a falling cascade of memories
Quivering sea of silent deep melody

In the end I will hold a tale dear
Living for dreams to turn them real

Sundown sets beyond the river’s flow
Darkening paths painted the virgin white
Midsummer nights long for cold snow
Lost in a dream of withered dance of long gone times

In the end I will read a story real
Dreaming you back through the memory’s tear

In the day every way fades into sunset
Beyond a dream luring the dawn
Lost score of the a wish far away
Caressing still last moment of awe

Dreams are writing your heart, remaining in soul
Within every scar lives divine little spark of faded youth
Little hideaways for a promising heart I found in you
