Awe Of Moonlit Butterflies

Dawn of times
Awe of moonlit butterflies

Running away from old cold lies
Of dawning day deep in teary eyes
Hope of lost awe in the dreams of fallen butterflies

Meadows unseen
Still dwelling in thee
For fallen tomorrow in a dream
Dawn of times
Awe of moonlit butterflies

Nightingale’s song through the forest, dreams beneath silver shadow
Snowy owl, wisdom of ages, watching me through the window
Fields resting under pale shroud of white virgin snow
Meadows unseen
Still dwelling in thee
For fallen tomorrow in a dream
Dawn of times
Awe of moonlit butterflies
Meadows unseen
Still calling for me
To join the ride in need of dream
Falling asleep I can see
Lost spark of awe that left in me
Ashes of time, devotion of eternity
A mill by the river, abandoned ship on the white shore
Dreamy-eyed child forgetting bright kite in the wood
Silently sleeps on a porch behind my door
Restless dream of a kindest heart of ocean blue
Meadows unseen
Still dwelling in thee
For fallen tomorrow in a dream
Dawn of times
Awe of moonlit butterflies
