A veil unseen

Feel this darkness deep in my soul
Coiling, pouring down
The song above the moonlight sigh
A verse in time to comfort a longing child
Last perfect rhyme to complete a heart
Signs of dear name to end this lullaby
Disgraced and torn
Cheated, all alone
Betrayed by this unholy world
