The Dream

Bound of lustful flesh
Cinders of ashes
Sound through the bars
Of lullaby’s heart
Wishes fly higher than rainbow
Verses are idle in a veil of empty tomorrow

This dark play with poisoned hearts
Blacksouls dwelling through your nights
Innocent stories into lies

Thirsty beast won’t haunt the pure
Deepest dream entwined with hope in her

Lust disgraced
Petals untouched
Letters misplaced
Betrayals were too much
Than her heart could bear through this cold

His heart kept her within
Till the last day of Earth
Silent whisper, autumn girl
His nightmare and daydream

Darkside pushed her away
Mind of pure heart wept for her back
Lustful bound her to keep within
His only dear dream

Bound of lustful flesh
Cinders of ashes
His heart was the purest of ones
She ever knew
For whispered “I love you”
He pushed her away into the darkness

His nightmare and daydream
The purest of all feelings
Never a sin, but the dearest dream
