Call Of Bare Grace

Once upon a tale of midnight halo
Awaiting all alone by the door
Locked inside, past time’s score

Dreams vanished in last siren’s call
He knew the tide would take him at dawn

Tied to the boat, lost in cold blue world
He sailed away from his soul’s rest
Lakes of his freedom still frozen in cold
Wolves, his guardians, left dear forest

Princess, white swan
Love pure, undone
So perfect she was, pale kiss of dawn
Dream without a face
Call of bare grace
Her soul tore his song’s last chord

Innocent smile, but lustful inside
Beauty of dream deserted his life
Drinking his loving heart

Entire world enclosed in one man’s sight
Caressed by a dream, read by a tale
A song of awakening for a locked nightingale
Still dreaming of magic winters and a kiss of awe
Wishing to be loved for his dark wistful soul

A lonely dreamer over the sea
Guarding his rest, caressing a verse
Writing his dreams through unseen words
A virgin, lost to the world, but dear to him

A girl in rags, but innocent still
Child of love caressed by a dream
Uknown beauty of dawn
Dream unveiling her face
Call of bare grace
Her soul played his song’s last chord

A story of life bound in snow
Frozen in time, kept by a poet alone
Dreams revealing his sea
To her lost memories
Loved by the dawn, caressed by his soul
