Away From Home

A poet of a dream, lost child of awe

The world’s ocean heart passionately adored
Far away from home
Lonely soul caressed by a wish
Sleepless nights as a dreamful core
Longing for the sea quivering within
Wandering dreamer’s soul
Sleep well, my child, it’s time to rest
I told you the tales I’ve heard long ago
From the heart in a poet’s chest
Deep slumber of midwinter awe
Caress a tale resting still in your soul
A sigh of a dream for a guiding call
Forget your tears, let them fade in the dark
The sirens turn loose your fears through the world
Far away from home
Lonely soul caressed by a wish
Sleepless nights as a dreamful core
Longing for the sea quivering within
Wandering dreamer’s soul
Send a farewell, it’s time to go
Little dream for a girl in hope
A tale coiling still around her core
Will dream her back to his dreaming soul
