In midnight flaring blue
A dream rests on a kite
Sheltering me from the palefaced moon
Long lonely flight across dreamy-eyes sky
Swansong for a princess sailing her time silver boat
Washed by waters of river ghost and waves of December awe
A wish upon a star
Midwinter awe warms my heart
Asking forever to rest on white shore
Pure virgin snow of dreamless core
Last endeavour for ever lost home
Deep in a child’s dream bound in a wizard sea
Swandream for a princess walking through waves of winter awe
Longing for a moment of eternity quivering still in last withering chord
Cold morning veil embracing me
Longing for little moments scarce in motion
Hidden within moonlit dreams
Swaying cradle above the horizon
Dreaming of far winters and deep oceans
My song flowing still through sundown oblivion
Swansong for a princess long lost in me, caressed by all poet’s songs
Echoing still deep in heart, flowing through memory bars, longing for a heart I deeply adore
