Winter In A Valley

Midnight glow, silver spark through a cloud, moon’s eyes across the field
Oceans of light, slumber of time, wolves lead through his dreams

Long sleepless nights, closed chambers of his mind
Dark forests, snowy paths, last snowflake through his heart

Caressed by the tale
Lost in midnight veil
A voice calling me
To enter a dream
Of shattered real

A winter in a valley of magic and awe
Lost world behind a wanderer’s porch
December tales painted a trapdoor
Taking me back to the world
Lost in a snowflake
Memories hidden in horizon grey
Before I fall with last golden leaf
I still wish to see
A story of barefoot boy’s dream

Lighthouse leading back through your dreams
Midnight glow to care of heart wishes
Lost in time a silent kite, a lone smile of a child
Frozen moments in heart dream alone
On silver snow of magic winter awe

A winter in a valley of magic and awe
Lost world behind a wanderer’s porch
December tales painted a trapdoor
Taking me back to the world
Lost in a snowflake
Memories hidden in horizon grey
Before I fall with last golden leaf
I still wish to see
A story of barefoot boy’s dream

A tale of mermaids and shipwreck coves, legends caressed by memories at the dawn
Snowy chimneys, a lonely writer’s story lost in a child’s tear, a poet’s call through winter awe
