Ocean Child’s Heart

Silent ride, one last sigh, farewell to the woods
Winter grace, a mermaid’s call, silence sparkles in moonlit gloom

Seasons in one longing sight, snowflake’s dream, child’s fantasy flew with a kite
Worlds change to oceans, moments into dark years, verses turn into chords

Promises across the waves
Words that intoxicate
A child’s heart with cold dreams of home
Poet’s flight through an innocent core
Midsummer call to lost winter awe
Wishes of time floating in the dark
Before the tides become my undone lullaby

Come someone make my world bright
Before the years take me
I wish to see
My meadows of life dwelling in light
Song of all sleepless nights beyond the kite
Caressed by a dream
Lost deep in me

Blackbird singing in woods, an owl’s call through cold fullmoon
A nightingale sends his songs through the sky of never dawn

A swan in dark mirror of lake, white innocence of pure grace
Untold wishes of mine in her tears, fallen stars before the horizon gates

Promises between me and the sea
Waves of a dream, unwritten scene
Lost in time, caressed by rhymes
Seasons entwined in one man’s sight
All worlds in a dreamer’s heart
Brought me back to the start
Before the tides become my last lullaby

Come someone make my world bright
Before the years take me
I wish to see
My meadows of life dwelling in light
Song of all sleepless nights beyond the kite
Caressed by a dream
Lost deep in me
