Painted Oceans

An island of life washed by restless sea
Timeless ocean, loner’s shore
Perfect rhyme for a poet’s heart story
Dying sun singing me in a final chord
Memories never let me go
I’m tired, bring me back home

I used to swim silver moonlit waters
Walk turquoise waves where we got lost once
A lonely spark giving birth painted our oceans
Chasing the dark inside a story of child’s heart

How did you get into my core?
Why did you write a story in that chord?
Tell me what’s left in the end
Meet me under silver moon and make me forget
This pain of careless real, the world in the void

I used to swim frozen moonlit oceans
Pulling down the waves of time
Cascading with starlit streams
Turning into echo of dreams
Falling with a promise sent through a fantasy shore
Lost in the dark reflection of mirror life

Stories unfaded, verses untold
Words of love quiver within
A heart of dreams rests in dark sea mirrror
