Withered Life Starts With A Blooming Lullaby

It was that fatal night
When the fullmoon dreamy-eyed
Rose from the waves
Beyond the porch where the story began

A painter of greatest blue
Enchanted by piano and the moon
Dreamed across the tale

A lonely poet
Lost child’s lullaby
His dear home turned into ashes

A tale for a heart long gone
I’m drowning in the waves far from white shores
My search goes on in the dark
Meadows of light, forgotten path
Withered life starts with blooming petal of a lullaby

Dreams take me there
Where real is shattered by storyteller’s tales
Loved by the night
Restless oceans of time

A dreamer searching for a cure
Healing old scars drawn by the stars
Lonely violin weeps in last angelchord

A poet forlorn, elf of my lonely road
Painting skies with purple sketches and rhymes
Life stole the colour of lost kite

A tale for a heart long gone
I’m drowning in the waves far from white shores
My search goes on in the dark
Meadows of light, forgotten path
Withered life starts with a blooming lullaby
Before the years drink me
I wish to become one with the sea
Finding that was lost once in me

Lost light, untold purity
Spring melody
Across the sea
Drowning deep
In a verse you wrote within
Every little memory
Hides the dearest scars of me

A tale for a heart long gone
I’m drowning in the waves far from white shores
My search goes on in the dark
Meadows of light, forgotten path
Withered life starts with a blooming lullaby
