Dream By The Sea

Pale crowd under the grey veil of the world
Dark clouds recalling a memory forlorn
In the night I long for heart’s last undertow

How beautiful it was in a dream
You and me
Moonlit fantasy
Far beyond the sea
Dying horizon caressed every wish
For the heart lying still in the ocean deep

I warmed your heart and caressed your soul
Losing farewell sent through a winter call
I kissed your tales, dreamed of your rhymes
Through the mirror of the lake sea-eyed

Over the hills I sea your dreams
Alone by the sea I wished you’d be there
Caressing my heart, writing my tales
Beyond the horizon of dark ocean core
Redeem me into childhood with storytime long-lived
Magic snowflake and neverending-winter awe

Drowning deep
In your sea
I caress the tales warmed by pale awe
Losing my sanity
On far northern shore

I forgot my pain, losing my pride
Above the grey cold sky
I follow a call of the bright red kite

In waves of wistful sea
I’m nothing but a fading memory
Floating still through a dream
Sleeping the journey from the eyes
To be the only story in your heart
