Journey Back Home

Spring call through the winter garden
Dreamy awe of my silent Eden
A kite floating in sundown sky
Deep frozen sea in poet’s eyes

Away from dreams to touch the stars
Burnt wishes weep for my deepest scars
Every tear dwells real in storyteller’s heart

Barefoot boy plays with a kite
Sending a wish to a fallen star
He dreams of tales and pirate ships
Of mermaids and songs in a field
Caressing a dream within his heart

Away from dreams to touch the stars
Burnt wishes weep for my deepest scars
Every tear dwells real in storyteller’s heart

Alone in the dark
Lost to the world
In one only spark
Of fleeting light
In this warmth of cold

Don’t give me love
I don’t need another lie
Don’t give me fame
Lakes of tears behind a painted smile
Bring me a truth instead
Every death starts with a newborn life

Sundown unveiled the dawn
Dew paints the shore
Fields dwell in a scene of awakening
Dark mirror of wistful sea

Dreams live deep in core
Song sighed the last chord
Trip withers in time, end of the show
Tired wanderers sail back home

Dear boy, it’s time to go
Put on your shoes and take my hand
Little wanderer, silent kite of a girl
Dreaming of winter stories and snow lands
Of ice-cream castles and poet’s call
Songwriter’s heart once drew her awe

Alone in the dark
Lost to the world
In one only spark
Of fleeting light
In this warmth of cold
Every death starts with a newborn life
Horizon plays sundown in dawn lullaby

The story writes a dream for a poet in love
Midnight reflecting still in great heart of all the tales

Alone in the dark
Lost to the world
In one only spark
Of fleeting light
In this warmth of cold
Every death starts with a newborn life
Horizon plays sundown in dawn lullaby
