Sleeping On Dark Petals

Wind in the hair, withering silence
Kite took last childhood tale, my cradle drifting away with a lullaby
All that remains sleeps on dark petals

Mirrors of darkness, quivering seas, winter awe dreaming in a snowflake
Lake virgin rests calm, mermaids sing your songs
Horizon turned loose your dreams through the shade
Sundown beams in last drop of awe
Caressing a tale in the void of this world

Restless bound, colours of clouds
Floating in a memory
Lost princess still sings your songs
Walking through a midnight dream

Stories lost within
Piano black seas
Quivering deep in me
Sheltering me from the grief
Moonlit memory turns into a story
Sailing oceans of time so lonely

Wind in the hair, withering silence
Kite took last childhood tale, my cradle drifting away with a lullaby
All that remains sleeps on dark petals
Embrace for a heart, Decembers lost in you paint my sleepless nights
Hideaway trapdoors for a lonely heart

All that remains is the smoke in the mirror
My lost lonely shadow writing the tales in last snowflake’s world

Wind in the hair, withering silence
Kite took last childhood, my cradle drifting away with a lullaby
All that remains sleeps on dark petals
