Dreamy Ships

Drawn away by the wind
I sail into the dawn sending last farewell through the awe
Cold winter morn, last sigh of sad violin

Tales caressing child’s sleep
Mermaids call through the dream
Where piano weeps again

Memories you turned loose every night
Brought back cold tears
Drew the dew in your eyes
Horizon paints the waves
With mirrors of past years, turquoise reflections
Lost harbingers of life
Ocean heart’s hideaway

Stories around a campfire, old friend’s hand writing the tales
Dreamy ships floating through the time, oceans of innocent core
Pirates, the mermaids, ocean soul dreaming of a perfect shore
Dreamy ships sailing through the tears, cascade of dreams in your eyes

Moments of love never gone, unfaded in time
Lying still frozen in quivering oceans
In the deep of your heart
Eternal verse for never withered heart

Mermaids guard your soul longing still for the seas
Pale oceans, dark mirrors always fall in moonlit dreams

Stories around a campfire, old friend’s hand writing the tales
Dreamy ships floating through the time, oceans of innocent core
Pirates, the mermaids, ocean soul dreaming of a perfect shore
Dreamy ships sailing through the tears, cascade of dreams in your eyes

Where sad violin sings
And lonely piano weeps

Stories around a campfire, old friend’s hand writing the tales
Dreamy ships floating through the time, oceans of innocent core
Pirates, the mermaids, ocean soul dreaming of a perfect shore
Dreamy ships sailing through the tears, cascade of dreams in your eyes
