Lonely Hideaway On Lost Island Shore

Painting the same frozen scene
A girl lying still on an empty shore
Caressed by the waves
Lost in tales
Her cradle floating far in the sea

Mermaids weave the stories
Of magic winters, neverfading awe
Theme park gates call for a child within
To enter, follow the call of luring song to come

Dreams of a child
Walk there alive
Wishes and dreams so dear
Fly here true real

Dreams of a child, lost heart of mine
Drowned in dark waters of time
River deep and fast
Tales of love redeem me to the past
Ghost town of frozen heart of mine

Forlorn paths turned back home
Lost among last pages of poet’s diary
Frozen moments for a heart of stone
Little hideaways through his memory

Alone on the shore
Little child, poor heart of mine
Caressing childish dreams and hopes
Lifetime kiss for a kite
Sent through lonely poet’s heart
A dream of all
December awe
Lonely hideaway on lost island shore
