Midnight dropped the veil
Covering meadows and rivers
Lonely tales beyond the tears and whisper of awe
Children are sleeping, but a barefoot boy is sitting awake
Little wanderer, he’s dreaming of magic flight and lost tales of snow
In a poem of heart he writes his name
Silent rhyme for a dream of sleepless blue and midnight song
Lullaby for a child
Wishes echoing still in bright northern lights
Calling deep dreams stay in heart
Candlelight, pale spark through the dark
Written a tale of a child’s heart
A tale drawn in eyes of barefoot boy dreaming of red kite, silent awe of the ride
Night whispers my name
Rhymes slowly fading away
Caressing a withering dream
For a heart of a dreamer
Losing myself in a mirror
Of deep poet’s sea, silent feel for him
